Bonatitan
Bonatitan was a long-necked plant eater that lived in what is now Argentina. It was a kind of titanosaur, one of the last groups of giant sauropods. Imagine a dinosaur about as long as a school bus, munching on leaves with its small head.1

Bonatitan is named after the famous Argentine paleontologist José Bonaparte, plus the word 'titan' for its large size.1
The first fossils of Bonatitan included a braincase and tail bones, but scientists later decided the main specimen is just the braincase.1
Bonatitan lived near the very end of the age of dinosaurs, around 72 to 66 million years ago.2
It belongs to a group called Saltasaurinae, which includes some of the smallest titanosaurs.1
