Blasisaurus
Blasisaurus was a duck-billed dinosaur that lived in what is now Spain. It had a special hook-shaped cheekbone and a narrow, D-shaped hole in its skull. This plant-eater munched on tough leaves with its many teeth.12

Blasisaurus is known from only a partial skull and some lower jaw bones found at the Blasi 1 site.1
Its name comes from the Blasi 1 site where it was found, and the species name honors paleontologist José Ignacio Canudo.1

- Blasisaurus was named in 2010 by Spanish paleontologists Penélope Cruzado-Caballero, Xabier Pereda-Suberbiola, and José Ignacio Ruiz-Omeñaca. The fossils were found at the Blasi 1 site in Arén, Huesca, Spain.41
