Menucocelsior is known from only a partial tail and some leg bones, including a right humerus and left fibula.1

It was a member of the Eutitanosauria group, but not a colossosaur, saltasaurine, or aeolosaurin.1

Menucocelsior lived about 72 to 66 million years ago, during the Maastrichtian stage of the Late Cretaceous.3

Its name comes from the Mapudungun word 'menuco' (watering hole) and Latin 'celsior' (higher), referring to the Salitral Ojo del Agua site.1

The species name 'arriagadai' honors Beto Arriagada, the owner of the ranch where the fossils were found.1

This dinosaur lived alongside other titanosaurs like Rocasaurus, and their different body shapes likely let them share the same area without competing too much.1 2
