Udelartitan was a long-necked plant-eating dinosaur that lived in what is now Uruguay. It was about as long as a school bus and walked on four sturdy legs. This titanosaur is one of the most complete sauropods ever found in Uruguay.3 1

Udelartitan had a special first tail vertebra that was biconvex, meaning it was rounded on both ends like a ball. This is rare among sauropods.1

Scientists found 60 tail vertebrae from one Udelartitan, which is a lot for a sauropod.1
