Gspsaurus is one of the few titanosaurs from the Indo-Pakistan subcontinent where a skull has been found together with the rest of the skeleton.1

Its teeth were circular to subcircular in cross-section, slender, and slightly recurved, with the thickness decreasing from base to tip.2

The name Gspsaurus honors the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP).1

Gspsaurus belonged to a group called Poripuchia, which means 'full tail' in the Saraiki language, because all the tail vertebrae were hollow on the front side.1

Its fossils were found in rocks that are about 68 to 66 million years old, from the very end of the Cretaceous Period.1

A dinosaur once called Maojandino alami is now thought to be the same species as Gspsaurus pakistani.2 2
