Archaeoceratops
Archaeoceratops was a tiny, early horned dinosaur that lived in China during the Early Cretaceous. It walked on two legs and had a small frill on its head, but no horns yet. This little plant-eater was only about as long as a bicycle!1

ମଜାଦାର ତଥ୍ୟ
Archaeoceratops is one of the earliest known horned dinosaurs, or ceratopsians.1
It had a relatively large head but no horns, only a small bony frill at the back of its skull.1
The first fossils were found in the Xinminbao Group of Gansu Province, China.1
Two specimens have been discovered: a partial skeleton with skull and a smaller, less complete skeleton.1
Scientists think Archaeoceratops was bipedal, meaning it walked on its two hind legs.1
It lived about 121 to 99 million years ago, during the Early Cretaceous period.2

ସବୁଠୁ ବେଶି ପଚରାଯାଉଥିବା ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ: Archaeoceratops
?How big was Archaeoceratops?
About 90 centimetres (3 feet) long and weighed about 10 kilograms (22 pounds). It was about as long as a bicycle.13
?What did Archaeoceratops eat?
It was a herbivore, meaning it ate plants. It probably ate ferns, cycads and conifers, using its sharp beak to bite off leaves.1
?Where was Archaeoceratops found?
Its fossils were discovered in the Gansu Province in north central China.1
