Its fossils were found near the famous Perito Moreno Glacier, which inspired its species name 'glaciaris'.1

Scuverta: Nullotitan was named by Fernando Novas and colleagues in 2019. The first fossil, a neck bone, was found by geologist Francisco Nullo in 1981, but the full description came later.1
