Comahuesaurus
Comahuesaurus was a big, long-necked plant eater that lived in what is now Argentina. It belonged to a group of sauropods called rebbachisaurids, and its bones were found all jumbled together in what might have been a flash flood.1

Comahuesaurus is known from at least three individuals that were buried together in a single bone bed, possibly during a flash flood or landslide.1
Its humerus (upper arm bone) was 67.5 cm (2.21 ft) long and its femur (thigh bone) was 113 cm (3.71 ft) long, showing it was a large sauropod.1
It had a very robust humerus, meaning its front legs were quite sturdy.1
The name Comahuesaurus comes from the Mapuche word Comahue, meaning 'place of abundance' or 'where the water hurt'.3
