Choyrodon was a plant-eating dinosaur that lived in Mongolia about 110 to 100 million years ago. It had a beak and lots of teeth for munching plants. It was a cousin of the famous duck-billed dinosaurs.12

Three partial skeletons were found in Mongolia by an expedition led by Mongolian paleontologist Rinchen Barsbold. In 2018, American paleontologist Terry Gates and colleagues named the dinosaur Choyrodon barsboldi, honoring Barsbold.13
