Conchoraptor was a small, feathered dinosaur that lived in the deserts of Mongolia. It had a strong, toothless beak and scientists think it used it to crush hard food like shells or tough plants.12

Conchoraptor was named by the Mongolian paleontologist Rinchen Barsbold in 1986. The first fossils were found in 1971 by a Polish-Mongolian expedition in the Red Beds of Hermiin Tsav, Mongolia.1
