Rahiolisaurus was a big, meat-eating dinosaur that lived in what is now India. It had short arms and a strong head to catch its food. Fossils of at least seven Rahiolisaurus were found together in a single quarry.1

Rahiolisaurus was named in 2010 by scientists Fernando Novas, Sankar Chatterjee, Dhiraj Rudra, P. M. Datta and Saswati Bandyopadhyay. The fossils were collected during two expeditions in 1995 and 1997 near Rahioli village in Gujarat, India.12
