發現: Angulomastacator was named in 2009 by paleontologists Jonathan Wagner and Thomas Lehman. The species name A. daviesi honors Kyle L. Davies, who first suggested lambeosaurines lived in the Aguja Formation in 1983. The fossil was found by a team from the Texas Memorial Museum at the Dawson Creek locality in Big Bend National Park.1
