Vectidraco
Vectidraco was a small flying reptile that lived in the Early Cretaceous period. It had a wingspan of about 75 centimetres (2.5 feet), which is as wide as a big umbrella. It flew over the seas near what is now the Isle of Wight in England.12

Vectidraco was discovered by a girl named Daisy Morris and her family on a beach in 2008.2
Its name means 'dragon from the Isle of Wight' because it was found there.1
Vectidraco is known only from a partial pelvis and some vertebrae, so scientists are still learning about it.2
It lived about 125 to 119 million years ago, during the Early Cretaceous period.3
