דברים מגניבים

עובדות כיפיות

Conchoraptor was first thought to be a baby Oviraptor, but scientists later realized it was a different dinosaur because its hands were different.1

Unlike many of its relatives, Conchoraptor did not have a bony crest on its head.1

Fossils of Conchoraptor show that it had feathers, and males and females may have had different feather patterns.2

Conchoraptor lived about 70 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous period.1

The name Conchoraptor means 'conch plunderer' because the scientist who named it thought it ate shellfish.1

Most of the bones in Conchoraptor's skull were hollow, making its head light.1
