Barrosasaurus
Barrosasaurus was a giant, long-necked plant-eater that lived in what is now Argentina. It walked on four thick legs and used its long neck to reach high leaves. Only three back bones have been found, but they tell us this was a huge dinosaur.12

Its species name, casamiquelai, honors the Argentine paleontologist Rodolfo Magín Casamiquela.1

- Barrosasaurus was named and described by paleontologists Leonardo Salgado and Rodolfo Coria in 2009. The fossils were found in the Anacleto Formation of Neuquén, Argentina.12
