Zbulimi: Siamraptor was named in 2019 by a team of scientists including Duangsuda Chokchaloemwong and others, based on fossils found in Thailand between 2007 and 2009. The first fossil was a piece of the lower jaw, and more bones from at least three other individuals were found later.1
