Barsboldia was a duck-billed dinosaur that lived in what is now Mongolia. It had a long, heavy tail with club-like spines on its backbone. This dinosaur was one of the first of its kind found in the Nemegt Formation.41

Barsboldia was named in 1981 by Teresa Maryańska and Halszka Osmólska. They based it on a partial skeleton found in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia.41
