Khanazeem was named in 2022, making it one of the newest dinosaurs discovered.2
Its fossils were found in the Vitakri Formation, which is about 72 to 66 million years old.2
The name Khanazeem honors several Pakistani leaders named Khan, including former Prime Minister Imran Khan.1
This dinosaur belonged to a group called titanosaurs, which were some of the largest land animals ever.2
Khanazeem lived alongside other Pakistani dinosaurs like Pakisaurus and Khetranisaurus.2
Scientists think Khanazeem was a ground-dwelling herbivore that moved slowly on four legs.2
