Dintlha tse monate
Mochlodon was a rhabdodontid dinosaur, a group of small plant-eaters that lived in Europe.1
Mochlodon lived during the Santonian and Campanian ages, about 85 to 80 million years ago.1
Scientists think Mochlodon was a dwarf dinosaur because it lived on islands and evolved a smaller body size than its mainland relatives.2
The first Mochlodon fossils were discovered in Austria in 1859.1
For many years, scientists were unsure if Mochlodon was a separate genus, but in 2003 it was reinstated as valid.1
