Ahshislesaurus was a duck-billed dinosaur that lived in what is now New Mexico, USA, about 75 million years ago. It had a flat head and a wide, toothless beak for munching on plants. This dinosaur was a big, gentle herbivore that walked on four legs but could also run on two.24

Ahshislesaurus was named in 2025 by a team of paleontologists led by S. G. Dalman. The holotype skull was found in the Ah-shi-sle-pah Wilderness in New Mexico.41
