Parvavis was a tiny bird that lived in China during the Late Cretaceous Period. It was one of the smallest birds of its time, with a wingspan of only about 15 centimeters (6 inches).1

The skeleton of Parvavis was found in 2010 near Luojumei Village in Yunnan, China. It was named and described in 2014 by Wang Min, Zhou Zhonghe, and Xu Guanghui.1
