Turiasaurus had a surprisingly small skull, only about 70 centimeters long. Scientists think a bigger head might have made it break its own neck.1

Its upper arm bone (humerus) was 1.79 meters long, longer than most adult humans are tall.2

Turiasaurus belongs to a group called Turiasauria, which includes other European sauropods like Losillasaurus and Galvesaurus.1 2
