Jiangjunosaurus
Jiangjunosaurus was a plated dinosaur that munched on plants in what is now China. It had a double row of round or diamond-shaped plates on its neck and a beak-like chin for snipping leaves.1

Jiangjunosaurus had large holes in the sides of its neck vertebrae that scientists think were for veins, not air sacs like in some other dinosaurs.1
Its teeth were wide and symmetrical, with seven tiny bumps (denticles) on each edge, perfect for shredding plants.1
The only known fossil is a subadult, meaning this dinosaur was not fully grown when it died.1

- Jiangjunosaurus was named in 2007 by Jia Chengkai, Catherine Foster, Xu Xing, and James Clark, based on a nearly complete skeleton found in the Shishugou Formation of Xinjiang, China.12
