Its wings were short and broad, like those of a skylark, which helped it take off quickly.1

發現: Junornis was named in 2017 by Liu Di and colleagues. The fossil was found at Liutiaogou village in Inner Mongolia, China, and is housed at the Beijing Museum of Natural History.1 3
