Balochisaurus lived about 72 to 66 million years ago, during the Maastrichtian age of the Late Cretaceous.1
Its fossils were found in the Vitakri Formation in Pakistan, a place that was once a river floodplain.1
The type specimen of Balochisaurus is a set of vertebrae (back bones) discovered at a site called Mari Bohri.1
Balochisaurus belongs to the group Titanosauria, which includes some of the biggest dinosaurs ever.1
