Drusilasaura
Drusilasaura was a giant, long-necked plant-eater that lived in what is now Argentina. It was one of the biggest dinosaurs of its time, with a shoulder blade longer than a grown-up person is tall!1

Dintlha tse di monate
Drusilasaura is known from a partial skeleton that includes four back vertebrae, one hip vertebra, six tail vertebrae, and a left shoulder blade.1
Its shoulder blade is 143 centimetres (56 inches) long, which is 30 percent longer than that of its relative Mendozasaurus.1
Drusilasaura lived during the Late Cretaceous Period, between about 100 and 90 million years ago.2
The fossils were found on a ranch called María Aike, which belongs to the Ortiz de Zárate family.1
Drusilasaura might be the oldest known member of a group called Lognkosauria, which includes some of the largest dinosaurs ever.1
The dinosaur's name ends in "-saura" instead of the usual "-saurus" because it was named after a girl named Drusila.1

It was a plant-eater, or herbivore, like all sauropods.4
?When did Drusilasaura live?
It lived during the Late Cretaceous Period, between about 100 and 90 million years ago.13
?Where was Drusilasaura found?
Its fossils were discovered in the Santa Cruz Province of southern Patagonia, Argentina, on a ranch called María Aike.1
