Liubangosaurus
Liubangosaurus was a huge, long-necked plant-eater that lived in what is now China during the Early Cretaceous. It is known from only five back bones, but scientists think it was one of the biggest dinosaurs around.12

Liubangosaurus is known from only five back bones that were still connected when found.1
Its name honors Liubang village and He Wenjian, who discovered the site.1
The largest of its five vertebrae is 710 mm (28 inches) tall.1
Liubangosaurus lived alongside other dinosaurs like the sauropod Fusuisaurus and spinosaurids.1
Its back bones have a unique Y-shape when seen from the side.1
The bones were found in the Xinlong Formation, which was once a wetland with rivers and lakes.1
