Arackar
Arackar was a long-necked plant-eater that lived in what is now Chile. It was a titanosaur, a kind of sauropod, and it walked on four sturdy legs. Even though it was a small titanosaur, it was still about as long as a big car.23

Arackar is the third dinosaur ever named from Chile.3
Its fossils were discovered in 1993 by Carlos Arévalo in a dry ravine called Quebrada La Higuera.31
The only known skeleton is from a sub-adult, meaning it was not fully grown when it died.3
Arackar belongs to a group of titanosaurs called Lithostrotia, which includes other famous long-necked dinosaurs.23
Its closest relatives include Rapetosaurus from Madagascar and Isisaurus from India.3
