Barrosasaurus
Barrosasaurus was a giant, long-necked plant-eater that lived in what is now Argentina. It walked on four thick legs and used its long neck to reach high leaves. Only three back bones have been found, but they tell us this was a huge dinosaur.12

The dinosaur was named after the Sierra Barrosa hill in Argentina where its fossils were found.1
Its species name, casamiquelai, honors the Argentine paleontologist Rodolfo Magín Casamiquela.1
Barrosasaurus belonged to a group of giant sauropods called titanosaurs, which were common in the southern continents.1
Scientists think Barrosasaurus was about 18 meters (60 feet) long and weighed around 13.5 tonnes (14.9 short tons).1
