Chadititan
Chadititan was a small, slender long-necked dinosaur that lived in what is now Argentina about 78 million years ago. It was a titanosaur, but much smaller and more delicate than its giant cousins. Its fossils were found near a huge salt flat, which gave it its name.12

Chadititan was only about 7 metres (23 feet) long, which is small for a titanosaur. Its limbs were thin and straight, not thick like other titanosaurs.12
Its name comes from the Mapudungun word 'chadi' meaning salt, because its fossils were found near a big salt flat.12
Chadititan lived about 78 million years ago in a dry area with sand dunes and palm trees around a small pond.2
Scientists found the first fossil record of tropical land snails together with Chadititan, showing the area was once wetter.2
No bony plates (osteoderms) were found with Chadititan, unlike some other titanosaurs.1
