Uberabatitan
Uberabatitan was a huge, long-necked plant-eater that lived in what is now Brazil. It was one of the last titanosaurs, roaming the Earth near the very end of the Age of Dinosaurs. With a body as long as a basketball court, it must have been an amazing sight!1

Uberabatitan is known from more than sixty bones, representing at least five individuals of different ages and sizes.1
Its name honors the city of Uberaba and Luiz Carlos Borges Ribeiro, a paleontology center director.1
One tooth found at the site may belong to Uberabatitan and is the largest titanosaur tooth ever discovered, with a crown 6.2 cm (2.4 in) tall.1
Uberabatitan had hyper-elongate cervical ribs, much of which were made of ossified tendons.1
Like other sauropods, Uberabatitan grew quickly when young, then slowed down as it got older.1
No skull has been found for Uberabatitan, but it may have had a broad, squared-off snout like some other titanosaurs.1
