Fun facts
Zhuchengceratops had a lower jaw that was about 50 centimeters long, which is very deep and thin side-to-side.2
Unlike its big cousins like Triceratops, Zhuchengceratops had no horns and only a very short frill on its head.2
Its skeleton was found in a bone bed full of Shantungosaurus bones, which are huge duck-billed dinosaurs.2
Zhuchengceratops lived about 83 to 72 million years ago, during the Campanian age of the Late Cretaceous.3
Scientists think Zhuchengceratops was an adult because the bones in its spine were fully fused together.2
This dinosaur is a member of the Leptoceratopsidae family, a group of small horned dinosaurs that lived alongside bigger horned dinosaurs.2
