- Nanyangosaurus was named in 2000 by Xu Xing, Zhao Xijin, LΓΌ Junchang, Huang Wanbo, Li Zhanyang, and Dong Zhiming. The skeleton was found in 1994 in Henan Province, China.1
- Still debated
- Scientists are not sure exactly how old the rocks are that contained Nanyangosaurus. Some think it lived during the Albian stage, but others say it was Turonian to Campanian.1
